Artificial intelligence is transforming the practice of law and the businesses our clients serve. The Business Law Section’s Artificial Intelligence Task Force was established to help members understand the evolving legal, business, and societal implications of AI through education, collaboration, and practical resources.
The Task Force provides a forum for thoughtful discussion of emerging AI issues and works to help Florida business lawyers remain informed and prepared as the technology continues to develop.
Mission Statement
The Artificial Intelligence Task Force is dedicated to positioning the Business Law Section as Florida’s leading resource on the legal, business, and societal implications of artificial intelligence by fostering education, collaboration, and the development of practical resources for business lawyers.
Areas of Focus
The Task Force’s work includes:
- Monitoring legislative, regulatory, and judicial developments involving artificial intelligence.
- Developing practical resources to assist lawyers in understanding and responsibly using AI.
- Coordinating educational programming and promoting discussion of emerging AI issues.
- Building relationships with courts, universities, bar organizations, industry leaders, and other stakeholders.
- Examining AI’s impact on business, governance, the legal profession, and society.
