Fellows Spotlight: Rasheed Nader, Class of 2024-2026

What has been your best experience from your time as a Fellow? My best experience has been connecting with my fellow class at the various events hosted by the BLS at the Labor Day Retreat and FL Bar Conference. I’ve created business connections and friendships for a lifetime (in fact, one of the fellows in my class is attending my wedding).

Why did you apply to the Business Law Section’s Fellowship Program? To get involved in the legal business community, as much of the work I do involves business litigation. Moreover, the rules and statutes that the BLS works to amend or revise directly affects my practice.

What’s the best piece of advice you have received? Connect with as many people as possible at all BLS events.

What is your favorite BLS subcommittee and why? Business litigation and Rules of Court committees. Business litigation because it is one of my main practices. The Rules Committee because I am a rules nerd and have first-hand experience from a prior clerkship at the Florida Supreme Court of how rule changes work.
