When I asked Tara to take on this bold initiative of creating AND implementing the $eniorSmart$ program, her response was the best I could have asked for. She simply responded “yes ma’am.” Since then, and with the help of Judge Lori Vaughan, she has moved a mountain to create the program, draft materials, have them translated into different languages, do community outreach, coordinate presentations, and the list goes on. For her incredible work, it was my honor to present her with the 25/26 BLS Member of the Year Award.
