Stay safe out there, folks! Hurricane Ian continues to impact a large portion of our members. The list of closings gets more extensive by the moment, including Middle and Southern District Bankruptcy Courts. Check your local court websites.
From Middle District Bankruptcy Court
The Orlando division of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday due to Hurricane Ian.
The path of the storm is being closely monitored and information will be forthcoming if the path of the storm will impact the Jacksonville division of our Court.
From MDFL
Due to Hurricane Ian, the Fort Myers and Tampa divisions of the Middle District of Florida are closed Tuesday, September 27 through Thursday, September 29. The Ocala and Orlando divisions are closed Wednesday and Thursday. The Jacksonville division will close Wednesday at 2pm and remain closed Thursday and Friday.
CM/ECF remains available. The court’s website (www.flmd.uscourts.gov) will be updated if additional closures are required.
