Outstanding Member of the Year 2023/2024

Jennifer (“Jen”) Morando is BLS 2023-2024 Section Member of the Year. Jen has been active in the section since she was in law school, now almost twenty (20) years ago. During that time, she has been an amazing member, engaged in all aspects of the section. Jen was the chair of the Pro Bono Committee as a very young lawyer and has chaired the Bankruptcy/UCC committee, the Bankruptcy Judicial Liaison committee and the BLS CLE committee. This past year, Jen has been the Chair of the Labor Day Retreat committee and her efforts here have earned her the section member of the year award. She has taken on the Retreat in a particularly challenging time both for the event and for the section and, as with all of her BLS work, Jen has led this group with patience, grace, wisdom, inclusion and thoughtfulness. Jen has worked tirelessly on this committee to make sure that the BLS signature event, the Labor Day Retreat, will be wildly successful. Please congratulate Jen on a well-deserved honor.
