The very first Veteran’s Financial Literacy Program is set to lauch. The event will take place on Saturday, October 30, 2021 in South Florida. It is currently plan to be a hybrid in-person and virtual meeting (with the flexibility to pivot, if necessary, to a fully virtual event). The Program is designed to assist our veteran community in learning to make educated financial decisions, and provide one-on-one counseling to veteran clients on the date of the event. The Veteran’s Financial Literacy Project is being put together in collaboration with the Pro Bono Committee and Financial Literacy Task Force of The Business Law Section of The Florida Bar, Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc., and Mission United Veterans Pro Bono Project of Legal Aid Service of Broward County, Inc.
