He began his legal career in the Attorney General’s Honors Program at the United States Department of Justice, where he was a Trial Attorney in the Tax Division. Judge Grossman earned his J.D. with honors from the George Washington University Law School, and his B.S.Acc., with honors, and M.Acc. degrees from the University of Florida.
What have you gained from your involvement with the Section?
Through my involvement with the Section, I have kept apprised of changes in legal practice so that I can better relate to the attorneys who practice before me.
Which Committees/Task Forces have you serve on within the Section?
I am currently Judicial Chair of the Judicial Liaison Committee. Before being appointed as chair, I was an active member of the committee as a judge since my appointment to the bench in 2019. When I was an attorney I regularly attended these committee meetings for many years.
What is your favorite memory from your time as Judicial Chair?
I am still in my first year as a Judicial Chair, but I am very much enjoying it. In particular, I enjoy hearing from lawyers about changes in legal practice, including with respect to technology, artificial intelligence, and inter-generational communications.
What is something that will surprise our members to learn about you?
I wrote an essay in 6th grade saying that I would one day become a bankruptcy lawyer.
