Dear Executive Council Member:
The Annual Meeting of the Executive Council of the Business Law Section of The Florida Bar (the “Executive Council”), will be held on June 26, 2025, at 3:30 p.m. local time, immediately following the Annual Meeting of the Members of the Business Law Section of The Florida Bar, at The Boca Raton, 501 East Camino Real, Boca Raton, Florida 33432, Addison Ballroom East (or such other meeting room as may be identified in The Florida Bar’s annual meeting materials made available or posted on site), and also by Zoom (Access Link: to be provided later) for the following purposes:
- To conduct the regular business of the Executive Council, as more particularly set forth on the Agenda to be provided later;
- To discuss, and potentially vote upon, a sunsetting of the Business Court Task Force;
- To consider for first reading and consideration proposed amendments to the Amended and Restated Bylaws of the Business Law Section of The Florida Bar, as such proposed amendments are set forth on the 2025-05-23 Notice of Annual Meeting of the Executive Council;
- To consider renewal of the employment contract with Metz, Husband & Daughton, P.A. to provide legislative liaison services to the Section; and
- To transact any other business that properly comes before the meeting or any adjournment thereof.
