What was the most beneficial about your time as a Fellow?
Gaining insight on current and up-and-coming topics impacting business
litigation, such as new legislation and civil procedure rule changes.

Did you have a mentor or leader who encouraged you to get more involved or motivated you to stay involved in BLS?

In addition to encouraging me to apply to be a Fellow, Mariane Dorris encouraged me to become involved in IMF leadership.

What is your advice for the current Fellows?

Try out different things to find out what most interests you. I think there are opportunities available to suit any interest or skill set. Don’t be afraid to raise your hand and volunteer for something, even if you feel nervous or intimidated. Remember that the people you see at the meetings are there voluntarily because they are passionate about the Section and would love to help you get involved, too.

Celebrating 10 years of BLS Fellows. Meet some of our Business Law Section leaders who are alumni of the Fellowship program.
