Congratulations to Chris DeCort on being named Outstanding Member of the Year for 2022-2023.
Selecting a “Member of the Year” is a difficult task in an organization like The Florida Bar Business Law Section. The Section produces top shelf work, and we do so because of first class professionals like Chris DeCort. Chris is the Section’s “Member of the Year” because he is the type of person that gets things done in a professional manner, without fanfare, and without asking for recognition or attention. Chris stepped up to lead our Business Litigation Committee when we needed him to fill in, and did a fantastic job guiding the Committee throughout the year. Chris always takes the phone call and always offers to help. We are successful as a Section because of attorneys like Chris, and we are grateful that attorneys like Chris continue to give of their time and talent. Congratulations to Chris on this well-deserved honor.
