Kathy McLeroy, a partner at Carlton Fields, was recognized last week by the Business Law Section with this year’s BLS Pro Bono Award, due to her longstanding commitment to, and contributions to, pro bono and access to justice. Kathy has served for many years as the Chair of the Florida Bar’s Standing Committee on Pro Bono, and is a former chair of the Pro Bono Committee of the BLS. Kathy has served for many years on the Florida Bar Foundation’s Board (now FFLA) and as it’s president. Kathy has also contributed to pro bono, women in the profession and the profession at large through her commitments through the American Bar Association, which recognized Kathy in 2022 with its prestigious Jean Allard Glass Cutter Award.
