We are excited to return to the Ritz Carlton for the annual Business Law Section Labor Day Retreat. Please plan to attend the Legislative Update on Friday morning, September 1. We will circulate the link to register for the retreat and to book your hotel room in the next few weeks. Retreat Chair, Bob Charbonneau, and his talented committee have been hard at
work to make sure this Labor Day Retreat is spectacular. We look forward to seeing you in Naples.
For those of you that are early planners, the Florida Bar winter meetings are in Tampa from January 23 to January 26, 2024.
And the annual Executive Council Spring Retreat will be in Edinburgh, Scotland (UK) from April 3 to April 7, 2024 with a post trip to the Scottish Highlands from April 8 to April 12, 2024. We are planning a memorable trip and hope to have the registration link available by Thanksgiving or shortly thereafter. To quote a great Scottish saying, Lang mae yer lum reek,
which literally means “long may your chimney smoke,” but more accurately is translated in Mr. Spock’s famous words, “live long and prosper.”
